KEEPING THE GAME SAFE, FAIR AND FUN!

HOW TO BECOME AN ON-ICE OFFICIAL:
1) You must be 14 years old on or before December 31st of the current calendar year.

2) If you are over 18 years of age, you will need to have a Vulnerable Sector Check completed through the Hamilton Police Services:  ​​https://hamiltonpolice.on.ca/how-to/obtain-criminal-records-check/vulnerable-sector-check

3) All officials must complete the certification test through an OHF partner association (AllianceOMHA or OWHA) and attend the corresponding clinic.

4) All new officials must attend an on-ice session where senior officials will review positioning, signals, and procedures.
